CATERER REQUIRED FOR TE AWAMUTU GOLF CLUB KITCHEN
 
Located on SH 3, Te Awamutu Golf Club has approximately 400
members. The course is great with an increasing membership, attracting golf
enthusiasts and visitors to the area. Looking to swing into action in a great
club environment. Then our kitchen at the Te Awamutu Golf Club is seeking a
dynamic and experienced caterer looking to take the club’s food service
offering to the next level.
 
This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality
professional to start from scratch and potentially make your mark as a great
foodie. An enthusiastic caterer who will focus on customer satisfaction for
both our members and the public.
 
You will work in conjunction with the golf club manager and
will assume control over all aspects of the catering provision for the club.
This is an exciting time for you to express that great foodie in you by taking
steps to generate new opportunities, visitors, and events. With a varied
calendar of events including regular club days, popular long standing golf
tournaments and demand as a great seminar facility the future is looking
extremely bright for the club and in turn the successful candidate.
 
The clubhouse can accommodate up to 100 patrons. You will be
considered an integral part of this dynamic environment and will be able to
positively influence the direction of the catering and function facilities and
truly stamp your own culinary personality on the catering aspect of the club
going forward.
 
In order for the applicant to be successful, you need to
have a great foodie outlook and consider yourself a great host.
 
  • Experience in a foodie industry
  • Who will demonstrate a high level of customer service skills in a variety of hospitality offerings
  • A passion for the hospitality industry
  • Cash handling and reconciliation
  • Stock control and management
  • Staff management including training, performance management coordination
  • Operate our Chomp food plan system
  • To be able to create an efficient and productive work environment 
  • Strong sense of responsibility and initiative
  • High service standards with a strong customer focusStrong communication skills
