Kia Ora During yesterday's Government update it was announced that Waikato will be moving to Level 3 Step 2 at 11.59pm tonight (Tuesday 2 November). The good news is golf can start to look like 'normal golf' again. A brief look at how it will work; - Play 18 or 9 holes in groups of 4 with no bubble restrictions
- Tee blocks return to the tee areas
- Club competitions can be played as long as groups not more than 25 congregate
- The shop is open for retail with social distancing and masks
- Outside can accommodate up to 25 people with social distancing
- Scorecards will not be issued, digital scorecards are available to be used through the dotgolf app.
- You must book in as contact tracing is still a requirement
- Clubhouse facilities and changing rooms are still closed
This is how it will look, and we ask that you continue to adhere to the guidelines set out and we thank you for your continued support during these times. The Golf Committee will let you know how the programme, including matchplay champs will be scheduled in due course. Good Golfing. Regards Management Committee & Staff Te Awamutu Golf Club |
